Freshers Fair is one of our favourite days of the year: the campus fills with new faces, big ideas, and plenty of curiosity about robotics.
We brought Pepper, officially the department’s robot and now an honorary member of RobSoc, along to meet everyone. Pepper spent the day greeting new people, posing for photos, and showing off some brilliant dance moves. There were plenty of laughs as students stopped by to see what Pepper could do and find out more about the society.
It was lovely meeting so many people excited to build, learn, and experiment with robots. Thanks to everyone who came to say hello. We hope to see you again at a society session soon!
