What the Vice President does

The Vice President of the Society is responsible for:

  • Assisting the President in calling meetings, sharing agenda items and writing minutes.
  • Chairing meetings when the President is unavailable.
  • Booking events and rooms, and completing external speaker forms when needed.
  • Making sure society communications, including social media, are appropriate.
  • Keeping the President for Student Communities and the relevant Hull University Students’ Union (HUSU) staff up to date with changes to the constitution form.
  • Checking that there is money in the society’s bank account before a committee member authorises a payment.

Interested in standing?

If you’d like to put yourself forward, let the committee know before the meeting: email us at uniofhullroboticsociety@gmail.com or speak to us at a Project Meeting. If you have questions about the role, ask any member of the Executive Team.
